If you are expecting to be in an area with limited or no WiFi or cellular data coverage, you may opt to download individual podcast episodes on the Audacy app for offline listening. To use this feature, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the Audacy app (16.14.0 or later) for iOS or Android.
To get started, simply tap the 'download' (downward arrow) symbol next to a podcast episode you would like to download. You may pause or stop the download while it is in progress by tapping the 'pause' symbol.
A green checkmark will appear once the download has completed.
To remove an individual podcast episode download, you may tap the green checkmark symbol, then tap 'Remove from downloads'.
You may also manage all of your downloaded content by tapping the 'My Audio' icon near the bottom-right side of the app's screen, tapping 'Downloads' near the top of the app's screen, then tapping 'Manage downloads'. From here, you may select multiple episodes and tap 'Remove all' to remove multiple downloads.
Please note that podcast episodes are not automatically downloaded for the shows that you follow - you will need to manually select and download the individual podcast episodes you wish to have offline access to.
If you have any additional questions about the download feature, please contact Audacy Support at support@audacy.com.
